Red Carpet – The Best 12 Performances In R3

Five games were played across R3 and there were a number of leading performances. Let's check out the 12 players to make the Red Carpet, ahead of the Team of the Week and Player of the Week being announced shortly.

Kevin Foster (Airs) 37pts, 1rb, 4 treys

Had a day out and almost single-handedly lifted his team back into contention late in the game against the Hawks.

Rob Loe (Saints) 24pts, 7rbs, 2ast, 1stl, 4 treys and 13pts, 8rbs, 4ast, 3stl, 2blk, 2 treys

Enjoyed a big round and led from the front, especially against the Sharks where he was a standout in a clash of the league's heavyweights.

Rhys Vague (Giants) 23pts, 6rbs, 5ast, 1stl, 4 treys

Continues to be a key player for the Giants with his very impressive inside-outside game.

Jordair Jett (Giants) 21pts, 6rbs, 13ast

Creative, explosive and a terrific team player. Jett scored plenty and dished out plenty in a top performance.

Craig Moller (Huskie) 20pts, 16rbs, 2ast, 1stl, 4 treys

First game on home soil and Moller came to play, especially off the glass where he took the honours on the night.

EJ Singler (Hawks) 24pts, 6rbs, 1stl, 3 treys

Has had a fantastic start to the season and has really found his groove. Continues to do a bit of everything and is becoming a consistent threat from the arc.

Wally Ellenson (Jets) 27pts, 4rbs, 1ast, 1stl, 4 treys

Was a standout performer for the Jets in a game they looked like winning midway through the third period. Time and again, Ellenson came up with big baskets and a number of highlights.

Dom Kelman-Poto (Sharks) 27pts @ 80%, 1rbs, 1ast, 1stl

Enjoyed a strong game against the ladder-leading Saints. His basket-to-basket running was a treat to watch as he continually worked his way to the rim.

Shea Ili (Saints) 23pts, 3rbs, 6ast, 2 treys and 8pts, 4rbs, 9ast, 1blk

The master was at it again, playing strong defensively and performing his normal wizardry in offence. With 15 dimes for the weekend against two quality opponents, Il's playmaking abilities continue to shine through.

Leon Henry (Saints) 10pts, 3rbs, 2ast, 2 treys and 20pts, 5rbs, 1stl, 1blk, 6 treys

Did his job on Thursday night before stepping out and blasting the Rams on Saturday night. Time and time again Henry put a dagger through the Rams as he enjoyed a memorable evening from long range.

Angus Brandt (Hawks) 18pts, 12rbs, 2ast, 1blk

Back for the Hawks and straight down to business. Brandt barely had time to meet his teammates before stepping out and dropping a strong double-double.

Sunday Dech (Saints) 22pts, 7rbs, 3ast, 3stl, 3 treys vs Sharks

Dech's performance on Thursday night in a big game against the Sharks was a delight to watch. Though they held the edge, the Saints blasted away in the third term on the back of Dech's sublime shooting and tenacity all over the court.
